NOTICE OF INTENT TO INTRODUCE CLASSIFIED INFORMATION Pursuant to 10 CFR gl10.123, notice is hereby given of the intent of the NRC Staff to introduce classified information into the written hearing on the above-captioned matter.
1.
The subject matter of the classified material intended to be introduced is the International Atomic Energy Agency's Safeguards Implementation Reports for 1976 and 1977 and related NRC staff memoranda.
2.
The highest level of classification of the information is confidential.
3.
It is anticipated that the information would be introduced immediately.
4.
The infor.ation is material and relevant to topic (2), the adequacy, for purposes of the NRC's determination under the NNPA, of the safeguards applied by the International Atomic Energy Agency at the Tarapur facility, and of U.S. Government infonnation on those 7901190/66

2 safeguards, on which the Commission requested written comments from the participants in the proceeding pursuant to 10 CFR g110.85.
