TAC #6727 At the request of W. Paseda Enhiconmental EYaluation Branch (EEB)fo
- 00R, we have updated our ev ;.
onoftherelativeconcentration(Y/Q) fuel Handling Accident niside Containment.(FitAIC). TAC #6727 due to the acquisition of recent onsite meteorological data (April 197/ through March 1970). Unlike the analysis described in our July 31, 1979 remorandum on this subject, the data permits the use of the direction dependent model described in Reguletory Guide 1.145, " Atmospheric Dispersion Models for Potential Accident Consequence Assessments at Nucicar Power. Plants". The results of this updated evaluation and the July 31, 1979 evaluation are enclosed.
ThischaluationwaspreparedbyJ.LehineandE.MarkeeoftheMeteorology Section. At this time we cannot certify that there will not be significant,
changes in these updated. relative concentrations since this evaluation was made usin9 only one year of data from which the representativeness of long-term conditions cannot be determined.

PRAIRIE ISLAND - FUEL HANDLING ACCIDENT INSIDE CONTAINMENT REEVALUATION OF RELATIVE CONCENTRATION
/
Values of relative concentration have been calculated using a recent year (April 1977-March.978) of onsite meteorological data, and the direction dependent model described in Regulatory Guide 1.145. The results of this o.nalysis are given below, along with the v'alues provided in the July 31,-
1979 memorandum from Hulman to Knighton, Model: Regulatory Guide 1.145 - Directin.-Dependent Meteorological Data. 4/77-3/78 3
