[External_Sender] Seabrook Power Plant concerns Date: Tuesday, September 24, 2019 10:08:01 AM

Dear Ms. Mattison,

I'm writing as a concerned citizen of Newburyport, who lives within a 10 miles radius of the Seabrook nuclear power plant. I am very alarmed by the reports I have read of the degrading concrete and the unprecedented risk that our community faces. Every year I sign permission slips allowing the school nurse to give my children potassium iodide in case of a nuclear disaster, and I am terrified at the thought that this is the only protection we can offer. I hope that the judges of the Atomic Safety and Licensing reverse the decision to allow the plant to keep operating, and I am asking that the NRC require the plant owners to collaborate with experts around the world to demonstrate their due diligence prior to a license extension.

Thank you for your time and attention, Karina Moltz 15 Summit Place Newburyport, MA
