Dear Sir:
I am replying to your request of Nove:r.ber 25, 1981, to the Federa. Energy Regulatory Co=ission for comments on the Draft Environmental Impact Statement for Operation of Bryon Station, Units 1 and 2.
This Draft Supplement has been reviewed by appropriate FERC staff c om ponent s upon whose evaluation this response is based.
This staf f concentrates its review of other agencies' environmental impact stat ements basically on those areas of the electric power, natural gas, and oil pipeline industries f or which the Co=ission has jurisdiction by law, or where staff has special ex pe rti se in eval ua t ing environmental impacts involved with the proposed action.
It does not appear that there would be any signifciant im pa c t s in these areas of concern nor serious conflicts with this agency's responsibilities should this action be under-taken.
