SUBJECT:
REVISION TO TASK ACTION PLAN A-10 ("BWR FEEDWATER N0ZZLE AND CONTROL R00 DRIVE RETURN LINE N0ZZLE CRACKING")
Attached is a revision to Task Action Plan A-10.
This revision accomplishes the following:
1.
Updates the program.
2.
Modifies the scope of the Brookhaven National Laboratory contract to reflect the needs of DSS /MEB.
3.
Expands the information related to the resolution of the CRDRLN issue.
4.
Deletes the references to plant-specific UT assistance to be performed by contract. This subject has been addressed by separate correspondence related to the A-10/A-14 interface.
(A copy of R. Snaider's memo on this subject is attached.)
This revision has been concurred in by the individual technical reviewers, but was not sent to Division Directors because only redirection of, rather than additional allocation of, manpower is required.
R. Snaider also took the opportunity, afforded by the current MIPC/NRR manpower allocation effort, to revise the project network. This has been forwarded to 0MIPC for publication.
