Dear Mr. Chilk:
On July 23, 1979, the Commission published iln the Federal Register notice of its initiation of the making of a determination as to whether or not the recent accident at Three Mi le Island, Unit 2 (TMI-2) constitutes an extraordinary nuclear coccurrence.
The notice invited interested persons to submit any ii.nformation in their possession relevant to this determination.
In response to this notice we submit on behalf of Metro-politan Edison Company, operator of TMI-2, an Assessment of Offsite Radiation Doses from the Three Mile Island Unit 2 Accident, dated July 31, 1979, prepared for the Company by Pickard, Lowe and Garrick, Inc.
