Dear Mr. Burnett:
As holder of NRC License SNM-23, Texas Instruments Incorporated requests the listed pages be placed in the " Plan for the Protection of Nuclear Facilities and Nuclear Materials", with the latest changes.
The changes include: (1) Revising the terminology for PAS, SAS, and security ranking system, (2)
Modification of emergency evacuation procedures, (3) The loca-tion of the intrusion and detector alarm devices, (4) The climination of some capped openings on portions of the HFIR roof.

Page 2-4 indicates the elimination of transformer link within the pro ccted area.
Page 2-5 shows terminology changes for control center.
Page 2-6 shows a change in the MAA #4 emergency door.
Page 2-7 indicates the glass panes for the buss duct have been covered with 11 gauge metal.
Pages 2-8, 2-9, and 2-10 specifies which capped cpenings on the HFIR roof have been eliminated.
Page 2-11 indicates the double doors leading into MAA #3 are not secured by a hasp and padlock but with a Simplex Automatic Spring latch.
Page 2-13, Figure 2-1, shows the elimination of the transfer banks.
Page 3-1 specifies temporary service badges may be issued for six months.
Pages 3-5 and 3-7 change the terminology of shift sergeant to supervisor.
Pages 3-8, 3-9, 3-10, 3-11, and 3-llA change the terminology for PAS.
Page 3-12 changes the emergency evacuation procedure.

Page 4-5, Figure 4-1, shows the addition of two Passive Infra-Red sensors in the storage area.
Page 6-1 indicates change in terminology from sergeant to supervisor.
Page 6-3 indicates change in terminology from sergeant to supervisor and a change in NRC telephone number.
Page 7-1 and 7-2 shows change in terminology for PAS.
Page 9-1 changes NRC telephone number.
Page 10-1 changes in terminology for PAS, sergeant and type of alarm sensor from ultrasonic to Passive Infra-Red.
Page 11-1 changes terminology for PAS.
Texas Instruments Incorporated believes that these changes do not depreciate the security of the facility.
These changes are being made in accordance with 10 CFR 70.32(e).
In accordance with Section 2.990(d) of the NRC's " Rules of Practice", part 2, Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, these changes are exempt from public disclosure.
