Dear Mr. Keppler:
This letter is submitted as a follow-up to our letter (Serial No. 1-57) of April 16, 1979 concerning IE Bulletin 79-03.
As stated in our letter of April 16, 19 '. ultrasonic examination revealed indications which required evaluation in terms of the acceptance standards of NE-5330 of the ASME Code,Section III.
As a result of this evaluation, it has been determined that the indications do not exceed the ultrasonic acceptance standards of Section III of the ASME Code, 1971 Edition.
Our letter of April 16, 1979 also indicated thtt indications were not found in the 8 feet of spool 34-HCB-4-4 examined. This statement is in error as one recordable indication was found in the portion of this spool examined.
As stated in the previous paragraph, this indication was acceptable to the requirements of ASME Section III.
