Gentlemen:
We have begun our in-house search of records to determine if ASME SA-312, type 30 or other welded pipe manufactured by Youngstown Welding and Engineering is in use in safety-related systems at Arkansas Nuclear One (ANO).
This effort will requir about three man-weeks of document research.
ANO-1 is currently in a refueling outage and ANO-2 in the sta.rt up phases of operation.
These outage and start up activities are currently requiring all available personnel.
Therefore, based on the on-going activities at ANO, we request an additional thirty (30) days to respond to IE Bulletin 79-03.
