GE*!ERAL ELECTRIC'S QA TOPICAL NED0-11209-04A Your April 6,1979 letter described recent organizational changes as identified on enclosed charts and a document control system for incor-porating and distributing revisions to the subject topical report.
In addition, it was noted that General Electric did not expect a fee to be charged for the URC review.
He concur with GE's proposed document control system to handle future revisions to NED0-ll209-04A, and thank you for providing the updated organizational charts for our information. Thirty-six copies of the binder plus page changes reflecting Revision 1 to the report should be sent to my attention in fulfillment of MRC's requirements.
Since these particular updated organizational charts are in the category-of a revision that does not require our review and approval, no fee for this organizational updating is required by 10 CFR part.170.
Revisions to topical reports that require Commission review are subject to the fee provisions of 1170.21, item'F of the Schedule of Facility Fees.
These fees are based on the actual professional manpower and applicable support services required for the review. However, the maximum that can be charged for any topical or a revision thereto is $20,000. Once my staff completes the review, the manpower and support services costs data are collected and provided to the License Fee Management Branch who advises, the Coamission's Office of the Controller to bill you based on the actual costs. The scope of the review determines the anpower required-therefor. The effect of the change on a particular program
