RESPONSE TO NRC INSPECTION FINDING S0lfff! TEXAS PROJECT ELECTRIC GENERATING STATION DOCKET NOS. 50-498/79-02 AND 50-499/79-02
Dear Mr. Seidle:
The following is llouston Lighting 6 Power Company's (llLGP) response to the infraction identified in IE Inspection Report Nos.
50-498/79-02 and 50-499/79-02 dated February 15, 1979.
Failure to Control Superseded Drawings
- 1. Corrective Action Taken The drawings identified as outdated were removed from the field during the NRC Inspection. An additional surveillance of controlled document holders was performed to detect outdated drawings.
The results of this surveillance indicated that the problem reported appears to be an isolated instance.
- 2. Recurrence Control A monthly surveillance is performed on controlled documents. During the month of February this sur-veillance was increased to determine any additional problem areas. No additional problem areas were found. Ilowever, addi nun..I surveillance in this area will be pedurmed during the months of March and April to cr.sure that the problem found is an isolated occurence.
