This refers to the inspection conducted by Ms. Jean Dawson of this office on March 6,1979, of the activities authorized by NRC Byproduct Material License No. 04-02289-04 and to the discussion of our findings held by Ms. Dawson with Messrs. G. Lindsay, R. Friend, T. Lorin, S. Hill and P. Smith on March 6,1979.
The inspection was an examination of the activities conducted under the license as they relate to radiation safety and to compliance with the Commission's rules and regulations, and the conditions of the license.
The inspection consisted of selective examinations of procedures and representative records, interviews of personnel, independent measure-ments and observations by the inspector.
No itens of noncompliance with NRC requirements were found during the inspection.
Ms. Dawson also reviewed the action you had taken with respect to one item of noncompliance observed during our previous inspection, which was conducted February 16, 1977.
She verified that the corrective action with respect to this item was implemented as stated in your reply of March 18,1977 to our letter dated March 4, 1977.
