Safeguards Contingency Plan for LaSalle County Station (Docket Numbers:
50-373 and 50-374)
Dear Mr. Denton:
Five (5) copies of the Safeguards Contingency Plan for LaSalle County Station are enclosed. The plan is submitted pursuant to Appendix C,10 CFR 73.
10 CFR 73.40(b) includes a statement that the Safeguards Contingency Plan shall become effective 30 days after approval by the Commission.
It is our intention to implement training required for implementation of the plan only to the extent that the training coincides with the requirements established by the Station Security Plan.
Any additional training or changes in training methods which may be required by Appendix B,10 CFR 73, will be accomplished within two years af ter approval of the Training and Qualification Plan to be submitted to the Commission by August 19, 1979.
