1 AECM-79/20 On February 12, 1979, Mississippi Power & Light Company notified Mr. J. K. Rausch of your office of a potential reportable deficiency at the Grand Gulf Nuclear Station construction site.

The deficiency concerns General Electric's failure to establish and implement an approved Quality Assurance Program for electrical work performed under Field Deviation Dis-position Requests (FDDR) and Field Deviation Instructions (FDI).

le will determine reportability of this matter as defined by 10CFR 50.55(e) and make a final report by June 1, 1979.
