RECEIPT OF ADDITIONAL ANTITRUST INFORMATION - NEW ENGLAND POWER PROJECT, UNITS 1 & 2 On January 15, 1979, the New England Power Company, acting for itself and Bangor Hydro-Electric Company, Canal Electric Company, Fitchburg Gas & Electric Company, Maine Public Service Company, Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company, Montaup Electric Company, Narragansett Electric Company, Taunton Municipal Lighting Plant, and Vermont Electric Cooperative, Inc., filed additional antitrust informa-tion pertaining to Maine Public Service Company and Massachusetts Municipal Wholesale Electric Company. The information submitted was requested by the Attorney General for Antitrust Review as required by our regulation 10 CFR Part 50, Appendix L.
The information submitted is in connection with the application for construction permits for the New England Power Project, Units 1 and 2.
These proposed plants are to be located in the southern part of Charlestown, Washington County, Rhode Island.
For ycur information and use I have enclosed a related notice which has been forwarded to the Office of the FEDERAL REGISTER for publication.
