______________________________________x STATEMENT IN SUPPORT OF DEC's REQUEST FOR PRODUCTION OF DOCUMENTS The written interrogatories submitted to the NRC Staff by the Department of Environmental Conservation include requests for documents.
Pursuant to 10 CFR 52.744 of the Rules of Procedure of the Nuclear Regulatory Commission ("NRC"),
DEC requests the Executive Director of Operations of the NRC to provide copies of the records and documents identified in those requests.
The requested records and documents are necessary and relevant to this proceeding in that they include information regarding investigations, analyses, and conclu -
sions relating to and in support of the NRC Staff's Final Environmental Statement Related to Construction of Greene County Nudlear Power Plant, NUREG,- 0512 (January 1979).
