In accordance with your application dated March 22, 1978, as supplemented May 25 and December 15, 1978, and pursuant to Title 10, Code of Federal Regulations, Part 70, Materials License No. SNM-368 is hereby amended to incorporate authorizatirn for use of the horizontal fuel spacing criterion.
Page 10.0-2 dated March 20, 1978, and pages 10.0-2A,10.0-2B, and 10.0-2C dated December 15, 1978 shall be added to the existing license, Part I.
Accordingly, Annex 0 of your license is hereby amended to add these pages; an amended page 3 for Annex D is enclosed.
Please note the general applicability of the conditions on the future application of the solid angle method imposed in Amendment No. 6 and placed into license format in Amendment "o.10.
The reference to Section 3 of Part I in the penultimate paragraph of page 10.0-2 dated March 20, 1978, could be misleading; we have therefore, added an appropriate note to page 3 of Annex D.
All other conditions of this license shall remain' the same.
We have added " Validation of the Use of KENO-IV at UNC", dated December 14, 1978, to the safety demonstration.
