Inspection on December 18-22,1978 (Report No. 70-820/78-28)
Areas Inspected:
Routine, announced inspection by two regional based inspectors of nuclear material control and accounting in the areas of storage and internal controls; measurements and statistical controls; verification of SNM for export; independent chemical assay evaluation; observation of a leak test of liquid ef-fluent overflow tank; and a review of outstanding items. The inspection involved 66 inspector-hours on site by two NRC regional based inspectors.
Results:
Of the six areas inspected, no apparent items of noncompliance were identified in fours areas; two apparent items of noncompliance were identified in two areas (infraction - items in an ICA without tamper-safing devices applied -
paragraph 3; deficiency - measurement control audit report not documented - para-graph 4).
