L'CCALPDR ORDER GRANTING NRC ST.L.FF MOTICN OF JANUARY 11, 1979 FOR EZ ENSION OF TIME On December 14, 1978 this 3 card's"Crder Scheduling Special Prehearing Conference" provided that petitioners for leave to intervene may a=end or supplement their previcusly filed petitions by January 15, 1979 and that Staff and Appli-cant could answer any such amendments or supplements by January 26, 1979.
On December 23 and December 29, 1973, and January 3, 1979 petitioner Citizens Against Nuclear Dangers (CAND) filed documents in which they " allege, contend, and aver" certain =atters relative to the opera:icn of the Susquehanna Staticn.
Staff, in "NRC Staff Motion for Extensien of Time to File Answers to Amended Petitions for Leave to Intervene" dated January 11, 1979 said it interpreted the aforemen:icned filings by CAHD to be supplenen:s to CAND's previcusly filed peti icn.

a.6.~s In its motion of January 11 Staff requested leave to file a single answer to supplemented petitions of each petitioner by the January 26 deadline stipulated in our Order of December 14.
Staff said,.further, that Applicant did not obj ect and requested the same privilege.
It was the intent of our Order of December 14 to enable Staff and Applicant to answer all supplements to peti-tions in one filing, which must be in our hands by January 26.
Thus, both Applicant and Staff may respond to CAND's supple-ments dated December 28 and 29, 1978, and January 3, 1979, and any other supplement which is filed by the January 15, 1979 deadline in one filing which must be in our hands January 26, 1979.
Thus Staff's motion is granted.
