M I N N E GOTA 5 5401 Decembe r 29, 1978 Director of Nuclear Reactor Regulation U S Nuclear Regulatory Commission Washington, DC 20555 PRAIRIC ISLAND NUCLEAR GENERATING PLANT Docket No. 50-282 License No. DPR-42 50-306 DPR-60 Change to the Prairie Island Security Plan Prairie Island Security Plan, Revision No. 2 dated August 22, 1975, is the currently approved security plan for the Prairie Island Plant. A change to that plan was made o, November 10, 1978 and is herein reported in compliance with 10CFR50.54(p). The change is described in Attachment A.
We conclude that this change does not decrease the ef fectiveness of the Prairie Island Security Plan. This transmittal consists of five copies, pursuant to guidance previously issued by NRR.
We conclude that the effectiveness of the Prairie Island Security Plan would be adversely affected by public disclosure of the attached inforaation, and that disclosure is not required in the public interest. We request that, pursuant to Section 2.790(d)(1) of 10CFR Part 2, it not be made available for inspection, and not be placed in the public document room.
