In accordance with the Commission's Rules of Practice, specifically Section 2.790 of 10CFR Par: 2 and Section 9.5 of 10CFR Part 9, the r~npany hereby requests the attached conies of the Amended Physical Security Plan be treated as proprietary and not be placed in the Public Document Room.

and construction of the Fermi 2 Atom'.c Power Plant, including the review of the material contained in the Physical Security Plan" for that plant.

I make this Affidavit in support of The Detroit Edison Co%any's request for an exempeiot, froa public disclosure of the Fern:12 " Physical Security Plan" under Section 2.790 of 10CFR Fart 2 and Section 9.5 of 10CFR Part 9 2.

The Detroit Edison Corpany makes this request for the following reasons:

The " Physical Security Plan" consists of confidential com-3 mercial information the contents of which are not available to the public i

for inspections i

b.

The u terial contained within the " Physical Security Plan" is of a nature customarily exempted from public disclosures c.

The protection of the general public and of the Company from thef t, sabotage or destruction of valuable Company property requires tha t the material contained wi%in the " Physical Security Plan" be exempted from public disclosure.
