OPERATOR LICENSING PROGRAM MANUAL CHAPTER 120 Operator Licensing Manual Chapter 120 has been issued and placed in the Agencywide Documents Access and Management System (ADAMS) as a publicly available document (ML19261B408).
The manual chapter has been reviewed by the regions, and comments have been considered and incorporated where appropriate. The intent of this manual chapter is to provide guidance on efficient ways to schedule and use examiner resources in support of initial license examinations and baseline requalification inspections. 2 Schedule, using resources from all four regions, headquarters, and the technical training center, to assist regional branch chiefs in building the regional schedules and responding to both anticipated and unexpected schedule changes. The manual chapter includes best practices for efficient examination administration and informs management decisions regarding regional manpower to ensure the operator licensing program is successfully implemented nationwide.
Additionally, the manual chapter reflects current processes in use, enhances consistency and efficiency across the regions, and includes the current requirements and allowances of NUREG-1021, Operator Licensing Examination Standards for Power Reactors, Revision 11 (ML17038A432).
