Dear Mr. Denton:
The Interior Subcommittee on Energy and the Environment will conduct a field hearing on emergency planning and economic issues surrounding the Limerick nuclear power plant, now under construction in Montgomery County, Pennsylvania.
The hearing will be held on May 27, 1980, at the Bucks County Community College, Newtown, Pennsylvania, commencing at a time to be announced.
On behalf of the Subcommittee, I would like to invite you to appear before our panel to testify on the following issues:
1.
Adequacy of emergency planning procedures and emergency preparedness, and 2.
Implications

" lessons learned" from the accident at Three Mile Island.
