Dear Mr. Ippolito:
The enclosure to your letter of January 31, 1980, requested certain information relative to the Physical Security Plan for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station Units 2 and 3.
Philadelphia Electric Company's response to your request for cdditional information is transmitted herewith.
The enclosure restates each of your requests and provides the Company's response thereto.
S ace the enclosure contains information relating to the details of *he physical security plan for a licensed facility, it is hereby re.__:.s ted that the enclosure be withheld from public dis-closure pursuant to Section 2.790 of the Commission's regulations.
An affidavit in support of this request is attached hereto.
We trust that the information contained in the enclosure explains more fully the background to the security plan revisions submitted on January 28, 1980, and will allow your favorable con-sideration of the revisions.

COUNTY OF PHILADELPHIA S. L. DALTROFF, being first duly sworn, deposes and states as follows:

He is Vice President of Philadelphia Electric Company (hereinaf ter referred to as the " Company"); he is authorized to execute this Affidavit on behalf of the Company; and he has read the document entitled " Philadelphia Electric Company's Response to January 31, 1980 Request For Additional Information" (hereinaf ter referred to as "the Response"), and knows the contents thereof.

The Response which is sought to be withheld from public disclosure contains details of the physical security plans for Peach Bottom Atomic Power Station.

To tSe best of his knowledge, information and belief, the information set forth in the Response has beer treated as confidential and proprietary information and has been withheld from public disclosure by the Company in accordance with the Company's practice of treating all information dealing with the details of security procedures as confidential and proprietary information.
4.
The Response should be considered by the Nuclear Regulatory Commission as confidential and proprietary information and be withheld from public disclosure on th?. grounds that they contain details of the physical security plans of a licensed facility, such disclosure is not required in the public interest, and such disclosure would adversely affect the interest of Philadelphia Electric Company.
