To discuss results of NRC's review of the upgraded Emergency Plan for the Yankee Nuclear Power Station (Yankee-Rowe), and State and Local plans, submitted in response to NRC's letter dated October 10, 1979.

FEBRUARY 12 & 13, 1980 AGENDA TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 12 8:00 am - 12:00 pm Hold fact finding and data collection tour of Yankee-Rowe.

Overview of site concept of emergency operations.

Tour of site emergency facilities.

EAL instrumentation.
4.
Dose projection methods.
5.
Communications.
1:00 pm - COB Conduct tour of local area.
WEDNESDAY, FEBRUARY 13*
8:00 am - 12:00 pm Hold meeting with licensee to discurs NRC requirements and results of preliminary emergency plan review.
This will be a technical business meetina between the NRC/ FEMA staff and licensee.
The public is allowed to observe the proceeding but not to participate.
1:00 pm - 5:00 pm Hold discussions with State and local authorities responsible for coordination and implementation of protective actions.
The technical meetings on February 13, 1980, will be held in the Town Hall at Rowe, Massachussetts.
. This will be a technical business meeting between the NRC/ FEMA staff and State and local officials.
The public is allowed to observe the proceeding but not to participate.
7:00 pm - COB Hold discussions with the public to determine their views on the state of emergency preparedness in the area and to identify any local features or situations which present special problems.
