Dear Mr. Eisenhut:
The NRC letter dated October 10, 1979 indicated that upgraded emergency plans for certain facilities (Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station being one) should be submitted by January 1, 1980. Toledo Ediaon's letter of December 27, 1979 forwarded, with otnsr documents, the preli=inary upgraded emergency plan for Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station.
(The serial number of the December 27, 1979 letter should be changed from 559 to 571). The sa=e letter alsa indicated that further revision was expected based on reviews then in progress.
The anticipated Toledo Edison reviews and revisions have been completed.
Accordingly, ten (10) copies of the Davis-Besse Nuclear Power Station Emergency Plan are attached and provided for your co==ent.
This revision of the Emergency Plan supersedes in total our previous submittal.
Toledo Edison is ready to address any ec=ments you =ay have regarding this plan.
The intended cout e of action is still to resolve comments frem the NRC's review and site visit, then conduct training to ensure the appro-priate degree of familiarity. When these events are completed (probably late spring, 1980) the upgraded plan will be trplemented.
