This is in response to your letter dated January 16, 1980 in which you requested, pursuant to the Freedom of Information Act, copies of all records, documents, materials, or other information in the possession of the NRC concerning the Abalone Alliance and all materials generated or possessed by the Nuclear Emergency Search Team concerning the Alliance or any of its members.
The NRC does not maintain fil s on organizations.
To the extent that the Abalone Alliance or its members may have written to the NRC concerning any licensing or rule making matter, those letters would be in the public Docket fi'es for the proceedings involved.
Regarding your request for all materials generated or possessed by the Nuclear Emergency Search Team (NEST) concerning the Abalone Alliance or any of its members, NEST is a branch of the Department of Energy; therefore, I suggest that you contact that agency for response to this portion of your request.
