Dear Mr. Karas:
This is a request under the Freedom of Information Act as amended (5 U.S.C.
Section 552).
I as writing to request permission to obtain copies of any files that the Nuclear Regulatory Commission has on the reasons why a full and rigorous environmental impact statement has not been conducted for chemical cleaning of the above reactor and all studies that have been conducted on the environn.catal impact of such cleaning.
I am prepared to pay reasonable costs for reproduction of relevant portions of the file.
As provided for in the amended Act, I shall expect to re-ceive a reply within 10 working days.
