Dear Mr. Lewis:
This is'in response to your letter requesting to be a participant and to be placed on the " Programmatic EIS distribution list for the TMI Cleanup."
Preparation of the programmatic statement is an NRC staff activity still in the early planning stages.
When eventually a draft statement has been prepared for public distribution, the Commission will announce the availability of the draft and will be happy to receive your comments.
The NRC staff is presently planning to conduct, in the next few weeks, a meeting in Harrisburg with state and local officials to discuss the scope of the statement.
It is expected that the public will be invited to attend.
I have asked the staff to notify you when a place and time for this meeting have been selected.
