On August 10, 1979, we sent IE Bulletin 70-19, " Packaging of Low-Level Radio-active Waste for Transoort and Burial", to you for information and action.

Item 9 of that Bulletin required you to report, in writing, within 45 days of receipt of the Bulletin, your plan of action and schedule with regard to Items 1 through 8 of the Bulletin.

Thus far, we do not have a record of your response to the Bulletin.

You are reminded that such response is required. Authority and clearance for issuing the reporting requirements of the bulletin has been approved for this agency by the U. S. General Accounting Office.

Another copy of Bulletin 79-19 is enclosed for your use.

We request your prompt attention to this matter.
