,19 79, by and between the UNITED STATES OF At' ERICA (hereinaf ter referred to as the
" Government"), as represented by the UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY C0iG1IS-SION (hereinafter referred to as the " Commission"), and RENSSELAER POLYTECHNIC INSTITUTE (hereinaf'.er referred to as the " Contractor"),
WIIt;ESSEIH THAT:
WHE8EAS, the parties desire to modify Contract No. NRC-04-78-263 as hereinafter provided, and this supplemental agreement is authorized by law, including the Energy Rearganization Act of 1974, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
NOW, r:iEREFORE, said contract is hereby modified as follows:

In the prefatory sentence of APPENDIX A, the date " February 29, 1980 "
is subs tituted for the date " September ;'0,1979 2.
