As a result of site visits by representatives of your office (July ?97h and May 1975) to Three Mile Island (TMI) and varicus telephcne conversatiens with Dr. Bridges, ve have been made aware of ycur office's cencerns regarding pcssible degradation of the OII dikes and riprap, due to weathering, and your office's concern that the dikes and/cr riprap =ay not have been built as de-signed. In this regard, please be advised that:
a.
a visual inspection of the present dike has been conducted, and several =iner pctential deficiencies have been disecvered b.
additienal analysis of the present dike vill be ccnducted e.nd shculd be ec=pleted by August 30, 1975 c.
all deficient ar 3 of the present dike and riprap that can be repaired prior to ec=pleting cur additional analysis vill be corrected expediticusly d.
