This is to notify ycu that the sediu= thicsulfate tank fcr the reacter building spray system has been repaired and returned to service as required by the subject license. The tank has been de=cnstrated to be fully cper-able, as described in Secticn 6.2.h of the Final Safety Analysis Repcrt and supporting Cc==ission reviewed start-up and pcVer range test progra precedures, and ncv meets all acceptability criteria cf the Cec =issicn.

Mr. A. Gia=busso Ju:.e 17, 197L The Reactor Inspector for the Directorate of Regulatcry Cperations, Regicn 1, has been notified that the repairs have been ec=pleted and that the tank is cperable; and it is our understanding that Regulatory Cper-atiens has ne further questions regarding this ite=.
Therefere, the above-cited license condition is assured incperative by its evn terms requiring that effective inmediately, the requirements of Tech Spec Appendix A, 3 313b, with respect to the sedium thicsulfate tank, be cceplied with. Metropolitsn Edisen Cc=pany is cperating the Three Mile Island Unit 1 facility in accordance with this requirement.
