This telegram is to confins the telecon between Lee Spessard Region I-AEC.
and J.G. Herbein (TMI-Station Superintendent) at 1100 hours0.0127 days <br />0.306 hours <br />0.00182 weeks <br />4.1855e-4 months <br /> 3 January 19750 Tin.silowin (page 6-11) g report is submitted in accordance with paragraph 6.7.2.a.4 of the technical specificaticas.
On 3 January, while conducting high and law pressure injection surveillance testing, the IC Makeup Pump (Nu-P-lC) failed to start on signal.
The 1A Makeup Pump was satisfactorily tested to verify cycrability.
Investigation into the cause of the MU-P-1C start failure indicated the motor circuit breaker failed to close on signal.
A spare mater cirtuit breaker was satisfactorily tested and substituted for the faulty circuit breaker on MU-P-lC.
The surveillance test was then satisfactorily completed on MU-P-1C.
Further investigation into the cause of circuit breaker failure indicated a loose control power wiring connection associated with the circuit breaker spring release relay.
The circuit breaker in question was a 4KY Westinghouse 50miP350 breaker.
