ao This teleDram is to confirra the telecon betwun Lee Spessard Region I-AEC, and J.G. Herbein (TMI-Station Superintendent) at 1630 hours0.0189 days <br />0.453 hours <br />0.0027 weeks <br />6.20215e-4 months <br /> 3 January 1975.
The folicwing report is subciitted in accordance with paragraph 6.7.2.a.4 (page 6-11) of the technical specifications.
Un 3 January, while conducting high and low pressure in,iection surveillance testing, the IB Reactor Building Emergency Cooling? River Water Pump (RbP'-18) failed to start on signal.
The 1A Reactor Building Emergency Cooling River Water Pump was satisfactorily tasted to verify operability.
Investigation into the cause of the RR-P-18 start failure indicated the motor circuit breaker failed to close on signal.
The PR-P-la was subsequently satisfactorily tested again on the logic co.+.
bination that the start failure previously occurred.
A further investigation will be conducted to determine the cau;e of RR-P-1B start failure.
The circuit breaker idiich failed to close was 4XV Westinghouse 50DHP350 breaker.
