Dear Mr. Keppler:
Reference (a) transmitted a status report and completion schedule for the inspection of accessible safety-related piping systems required by IE Bulletin 79-14.
Although initial walk-down inspections of the piping were complete at the time the letter was transmitted, additional inspections and as-built information have been required by our consultant in order to perform their evaluation of the piping systems.
Because of the' additional information required, we are unable to meet the October 15, 1979 commitment for the completion of the accessible piping systems evaluation phase and report.
To date, all inspections have been completed.
Of the thirty-three (33) packages of information for the accessible systems, twenty-four (24) have been transmitted to our consultant for engineering review and nine (9) are in final preparation stages for transmittal.
Our report of the accessible systems piping inspection will be transmitted to you following completion of the evaluation phase by our con-sultant.
