WM. H. ZIMMER NUCLEAR POWER STATION -
UNIT 1 - MK II POOL DYNAMIC LOADS PROCRAM
Dear Mr. Denton:
By his letter of October 5, 1979, Mr. S. A. Varga requested that a description of plant unique tasks being used as part of the Zimmer Dynamics Loads Program be identified to the NRC.
He indicated the request resulted from a July 24, 1979 meeting in which some MK II owners indicated they would request relief frcm the generic load specifications in certain areas.
Although we believe load reductions will be justified, the Zimmer Project is continuing to follow the Lead Plant MK II Pool Dynamics Loads Program. We are not deviating from the generic Lead Plant MK II Program.
Several recent meetings have been held with the NRC to review the details )f the Lead Plant MK II Program which Zimmer is following.
It 17 our understanding that the MK II Containment Staff reviewers are in accord + th that Program.
We believe this letter fulfills Mr. Varga's request for information.
Very truly yours, THE CINCINNATI GAS & ELECTRIC COMPANY By E. A. EORGMANN Senior Vice President EAB: dew cc: Charles Bechhoefer Glenn O. Br_'ght Frank F. Hooper Troy B. Conner, Jr.
