-5 This letter is in response to IE Bulletin No. 78-05 ccncerning the =alfunctioning of General Electric model CR 105h circuit breaker auxiliary contact =echanisms.
The controls for st.fety-related equipment have been reviewed for use of GE Series 100 Contactors with auxiliary contacts, It was deter =ined that series 100 contactors with auxiliary contacts are used for the DC fuel oil Transfer Pumps of the Emergency Diesel Generators. The DC Pu=p is a backup to the AC pump and no probler ave been experienced with the contactor operation. The auxiliary switchrs vill be replaced when the l= proved switches 're received frc= the ranufacturer.
The expected cc=pletion date is October 31, 1978.
