,1._W Operating License DPR-50 Docket No. 50-289 This letter is in continuance of our letter of September 30,197h, in which we repcrted an Abnormal Occurrence at our Three Mile Island Nuclear Station, Unit 1 (Report Number AC 50-269/7h-17).
In that letter we stated we would report within ten days on the results of additional analyses that we are conducting to determine if eny potentially adverse effects vould have resulted from the higher-than-allcwed quantity of NaOH that existed in the Sodium Hydroxide Tank of the Reactor Building Spray System.
"'his letter is being sent to you cne day cfter the prc=ised date in accordance with the October 10,197h, telephone conversation between D. N. Grace of our Licensing Section and D. Jaffe of your office.
Due to the analyses being more ec= plex than had originally been anticipated, please be advised that they have not yet been ccepleted; we presently anticipate being able to c0=plete them by Cetober 21,197h; and we anticipate being able to supply you with the conclusiens of our analyses by that dat e.
