Docket No. 50-289 Operating License EPR 50 Recently a situation was discovered which, although n3t censidered reportable, may be of interest to ycu.
A review cf the column flange design of the T:E-1 River '4ater Pumps reveal that the manufacturer's stress calculatiens may have not properly acccunted fcr both flange bolting forces and seis=ic forces. A meeting with the man't-facturer has been requested for the week of October 25, 1976, to resolve this probles.
