This telegram is to confirm the telecon between Lee Spessard (Region I-AEC),
and J.J. Colitz (Station Engineer) at 1200 IMS,19. June 1974.
Violation of the Enviroreental Technical Specification 2.2.1.a (page 7) in that the free chlorine ccmonent measured at the plant river discharge exceeded.1 ppn on 19 June 1974.
Analysis of 'the free chlorine conponent in the plant river discharge 30 minutes after the start of the chlorination cycle indicated.115 ppa and at 50 minutes after the start of the chlorination cycle Inoicatec.i25 ppa.
6 To insure the free chlorine component in the plant river discharge rer,ains below
.1 ppn, the chlorination addition r:te has been reduced to less than 15a Uday.
