A meeting was held with Met-Ed on June 29, 1971 to discuss acue tmresolved items on TMI-1.
Details are provided in Enclosure A; a list of attendees is provided in Enclosure B.
The mee"ing summary is:
1.
The Halon fire suppression system has more than adequate Helou available.
2.
More work remains to be done by Met-Ed on meteorology data analysis.
3.
The suspect concrete in the fuel pool (due to a low-te@erature pour) appears to be <re.eptable.
4.
The new rod ejection accident analysis now si ows 50 gpa carryover into the secondary (instead of 1200). A separate memo has been published.
5.
Met-Ed has considered other failed-fuel detector types, but chose the gross-gamma model.
6.
Details of the pipe-whip restraint design were presented; Mat-Ed appears to have full protection.
