Our reactor vessel manufacturer, Combustion Engineering, Inc., is currently engaged in performing the records search requested by I & E Bulletin 78-12 (as modified by Supplements 12A and 12B).
C-E has advised us, and notified Mr. H.D. Thornburg of the staff, that they plan to submit a generic report directly to the NRC before June 8,1979 covering all reactor vessels manufactured by C-E.
We will then reference their generic report in our final response to the bulletin.
This final response will be submitted to you on or before June 29, 1979.
