Thank you for your letter of February 9,1979, in response to our letter dated January 4, 1979. As a result of our review, we have no further questions regarding Items B and E.
However, we find that additional informa-tion is needed, as follows, relative to Items A, C, D, and F.
Items A'and F Each of these items involve either repeat or continuing deviations.
In neither case does your statement of corrective action provide assurance that future, similar deviat!ons will be avoided. f'.oreover,
your response to these' i' *ms fails completely to deal with the area of concern, as well as specificity expressed in the first three para-graphs on page two of our January 4,1979, letter. Also, we feel that a projected completion date, for Item A, Corrective Action, of August 6, 1979, reflects excessive delay in view of the seriousness of the area of deviations.
In view of the above, please reference paragraphs one, two, and three of our January 4 letter, consider the matter of a corrective action completion date for Item A, and provide additional comments.
Any additional comments will become the bases for either resolution of these items or for escalated enforcement action on our part.
Item C In your response to Item C, you did not deal with the area of Deviation... failure to document training (minutes)... in terms of steps you have taken, or plan to 'take to prevent recurrence.

re-examine this item in our Notice of Deviation and provide additional comments.

(1) qualify Item No. 2 of Job No. M1048-N (since weld repair did not include reference to required procedures), and (2) to assure that future weld repair will be performed with reference to required procedures.
Please provide this additional information within twenty (20) days with particular reference to the comment under Items A and F in order that we may complete our review in a timely manner.
