Reference (a) transmitted the subject I.E. Bulletin 79-04 and requested our response within sixty (60) days of its date. Our review of LaSalle County Station Units 1 and 2 indicates that swing check valves manufactured by Velan Engineering Corporation are not installed or planned to be installed in any Seismic Category I piping systems. As such, no further response is required. Please address any questions you may have concerning this matter to this office.
