SUBJECT:

Technical Specification Appendix B - Environmental Technical Specifications Amendment No. 46

Dear Mr. Polk:

The James A. FitzPatrick Nuclear Power Plant received Technical Specification Amendment No. 46 on 29 May 1979 A review of this amendment revealed several editorial errors which should be corrected by your office.

These errors have been discussed via telephone between Mr. J. Wilson of the United States Nuclear Regulatory Commission and Mr. B. Gorman of our plant staff.

These editorial errors are tabulated below.

1) Page 5 - Amendment No 46 The last sentence in the " Specification" paragraph should have the words " floor drain" deleted or should be revised to include " floor drain or waste sample tanks."

The first ser.tence under " Monitoring Requirement" contains a reference to Table 2.2-2. Table 2.2-2 is not included in the specifications.

The discussions between Mr. Wilson and Mr. Gorman indicate that the table may not be required and therefore the reference should be deleted.

" Radiological Environmental Monitoring" should have beea included i' on this page. Mcwever, it was inadvertently omi ttud. k S o0Y i L 9 l I
