This is a revision of our inservice inspection and testing program description and requests for relief submitted to the Commission on February 1,1978.

The purpose of this revision is to:

(a) Remove the waste gas systen from the Section XI Inservice Inspection and Testing Progran as requested by the NRC Staff.

This change affects 13 Code classification drawings, deletes testing requirements for several valves, deletes pressure tests of piping, and deletes Requests for Relief 6 and 38 for both units.

(b) Remove testing requirements for three boundary valves having no safety function.

(c) Revise Request for Relief 59 for both units in an attempt to meet NRC Staff guidell'es on leakage testing.

(d) Add Requests for Relief 61 and 62 for both units.

These Requests delete valve exercise tests during plant ope ra t ion in two cases where the tests could have an adverse ef fect on plant equipment and safety.
