Article II - Task Orders:

Task Order flo. 3, the following additions are made:

Statement of Work "a.

Review and evaluate radiographs of the Duane Arnold safe-end pressure boundary welds for acceptance in accordance with ASME Boiler and Pressure Vessel Code,Section III (1974 Edition) rules.

This evaluation will be conducted onsite, and will address only the new pressure boundary welds with emphasis on those specific welds cited in Peabody Testing Company's allegations.

Provide travel and participation of Parameter, Inc. in the NRC staff meeting with Licensee on January 24, 1979, at the Region III:IE Offices in Glen Ellyn, Illinois.

Provide travel and technical support to NRC:IE during in-depth technical evaluation of safe-end weld radiography (acquired in section a. above) at the Newport News Shipbuilding and Drydock Company on January 29, 1979."

Report Reouirements "The results of this additional analysis and evaluation shall be reported expeditiously and separately from the Task 3 Final Report."

Cost Ceiling Delete the amount "$92,000.00," and insert the amount "$98,000.00."

Participate and provide a final review and recommendation on all aspects of the investigations conducted by Parameter, Inc.

Article X - Obligations, Subparagraph (a), as modified, is changed to read:

"The amount presently obligated by the Commission with respect to this contract is $11,000.00."

The contract amount is hereby increased by $11,000.00 from $119,500.00 to 5130,500.00 by reason of this modification.
