and between the UNITED STATES OF AMERICA (hereinafter referred to as the
" Government"), as represented by the UNITED STATES NUCLEAR REGULATORY COMMIS-SION (hereinafter referred to as the " Commission"), and UNIVERSITY OF VIRGINIA (hereinafter referred to as the "Contractar"),
WITNESSETH THAT:

provided, and this supplemental agreement is authorized by law, including the-Energy Reorganization Act of 1974, as amended, and the Atomic Energy Act of 1954, as amended.
NOW, THEREFORE, said contract is hereby modified as follows:
1.
In ARTICLE I - THE RESEARCH TO BE PERFORMED, subparagraph (b), delete the name "C. A. Erdman" and substitute in lieu thereof the name "A. B. Reynolds."
2.
In ARTICLE A-I(b), the Principal Investigator is changed from "C. A.
Erdman" to "A. B. Reynolds" and the amount of effort is changed from "37.5% of his time during the academic year and 100% of his time during two summer months" to "25% of his time during the academic year and 100% of his time during two summer months."
