SUBJECT:

DISCUSSION OF PROPOSED EMERGENCY PLAN AND LICENSE RENEWAL APPLICATION A meeting was held in the offices of'the NRC.to discuss (1) the TI proposed responses to the NRC comments on their emergency plan dated October 25,1978, and (2) the renewal application scheduled for submittal by March 1,1979 (current license expires March 31,1979).

Proposed responses to all NRC comments on the emergency plan were discussed. TI had not considered a postulated criticality in the facility but will do so before submittal of their revised plans even though the possibility of such an incident is very low. They will also clarify the proposed responses where required and officially submit their revised plan by February 10, 1979.

The preparation plans for their renewal application and the associated environmental report were also discussed.
